3TM fork sliders act as a wear surface between your fork lowers and the track. In the event of a slide, they increase the energy that can be absorbed by the forks before damage occurs.

Available for Ducati Models: All 748/916-999 through to 2003. All Ducati Showa (Nut on Wheel Spindle) models after 2000, All Aprilia Mille R Models.

The design considerations included:

Low weight, keep the unsprung weight as low as possible while still offering protection. (2oz / 56 gms total). rather than a heavy 'bolt through' system the sliders are precision machined for an interference fit in the wheel spindle.

Allow suspension adjustment, The compression damping on Showa forks is reached through the base of the fork leg, this product does not obstruct the adjuster while fitted.

Allow wheel removal, The spindle can actually be removed more easily from the forks with the sliders in place, this is because the sliders can be impacted with no danger of damage to the spindle while their asymmetrical design allows the spindle retaining nut to be removed.

Fit and Forget, No maintenance required, no bolts to check or lock wire, once fitted these sliders will never need removing to allow maintenance on any other part of the bike.

5 prototype designs in a short list of 3 different materials were manufactured and destruction tested to ensure optimal performance.

As used by Craig Barker, 2001 SuperTwins Champion on his DSL 999 in the 2003 British Powerbike Championship.
